What began in 1998 has become Canada's largest public foundation dedicated to funding women and children's shelters and violence prevention programs. As the only real estate company with its charitable foundation, Royal LePage is committed to ensuring that women and children have a safe place to escape domestic violence. With national partners and supporters' help, the organization funds various programs that help women and children heal and seek better opportunities for themselves and others.
All proceeds help more than 50,000 women and children through the programs and shelter fund. To date, the Shelter Foundation has raised over $33 million and is currently supporting 200 women's shelters across the country. As a founding partner of the Fourth R and sheltersafe.ca, Royal LePage delivers educational programs and assistance to those in need. Partnering with the Canadian Women's Foundation has allowed for immense support for grassroots programs, helping those affected by abuse rebuild their lives.
